HONEY I AM HOME

Well it now is 2014 and the days are flying by. It has been more than 4 years since I have blogged and after so long of a time my life has drastically changed. The stories that have preceded this post are still true and I hope to continue writing the things of my past so my kids can really get to know what things were like when I was a kid, which I might add are totally different. So, where to begin. I now live in Naples, Fl. from where I came from in the 80's and early 90's. Returning to Pittsburgh in 1994 after we did about a year living on a boat and traveling through the Bahamas, the trip back to Pgh. was none the less culture shock. I have really lived an exciting life and it all started, I guess, the day I took my first breath. I, now being 68 years old have grown to be a lot wiser and after contemplating my life, have come to the conclusion that less is more in just about every way. Things are easier, calmer, quieter, and drama is not a part of my life at all. The kids are grown. I find out I have gathered up peace and am able to help people needing help. Volunteering 4 or 5 days a week at my church right in the homeless section of Naples. I guess I finally have found my spot in life. Who knows what will happen from now on. I just will do what I need to do by taking one step at a time. Remembering all I did when I was a child and when I had children and the things that came into my life from them. So I can say with GUSTO...HONEY I'M HOME
